The VIDEONALE took place in its 19th edition from 31.03. - 14.05.2023 with an exhibition of 27 video artworks at Kunstmuseum Bonn and a diverse program in the midst of the exhibition and at satellites in the urban area of Bonn.
With each work, a new window is opened to the diverse range of contemporary productions from the field of video art and moving images. The themes are as varied as they are relevant to the present.
We talked about these perspectives with the artists, the audience and agents of film culture: before, during and after the exhibition.

FESTIVAL
The festival program took place parallel to the entire exhibition period, at Kunstmuseum Bonn and
in the city. Thank you for joining us in the VIDEONALE CIRCUS surrounded by exhibition architecture, for our video nights and matinées with different guests. PROGRAM SATELLITES in the city led us high up to the 30th floor of the Post Tower, to the disused Viktoriabad, down to the bunker under the Bonner and to the Klub Bar King Georg in Cologne. The OPENING DAYS were, as always, a meeting point for artists, curators, festival makers, collectors, scientists, and anyone else who feels like it.
